When you experience the unfortunate event of a fire, you want to be able to call somebody you trust to guide you through the steps of the fire restoration process as soon as possible. Kiser Construction is that team. With empathy and expertise, our staff is here to guide you through the aftermath and restoring your home.

The Fire Restoration Process

Our team of certified restoration specialists and experienced fire restoration project managers work closely with investigators and insurance companies to ensure everything you need is taken care of whether you live in a single-family home or multi-family property.

Step 1: First Response

Our first response team can be on-site within the Twin Cities metro area in three hours or less. After we are contacted, our team arrives to the site to assess the damage.

Step 2: Detailed Discussion

We always want to make sure we are on the same page with the property and homeowners. It is vital we meet with you to discuss the next steps in the process and what it’ll look like.

Step 3: Service Security

After a fire it is imperative to make sure that the area affected is safe and secure. During this step we take inventory of all contents in the house and offer board-up service if needed for the situation.

Step 4: Recover

We understand that a lot of your worry will be about your important possessions and where they’ll go during the fire restoration process. During the recover step we’ll dry out, clean and deodorize all salvageable items. Then they will be moved to a secure, climate controlled storage facility.

Step 5: Restoration

After assessing the situation, the damage, and talking everything over with the property owner, we begin working on restoring the property.

We try to keep the process as simple, straightforward, and quick as possible. We understand that experiencing damage or loss can be devastating. Kiser Construction strives to do everything we can to make sure you are taken care of. We’ll ensure you will know what’s happening throughout the entire fire restoration process.

For your own safety and other issues, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IIRC) highly recommends you hire a certified restoration company to assist in cleanup and to do all fire restoration work. We do not recommend DIY in fire damage situations.

We hope you won’t need us, but if you do, we offer 24-hour emergency service and can be at your property in three hours or less.

Don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns, or to walk you through the insurance process
